Business Development Manager- Cybersecurity
Zazz is seeking a Senior Sales professional with a strong background in Managed IT Services and Cybersecurity. The role involves driving growth for their Managed IT and Cybersecurity offerings in North America and Canada, focusing on owning the sales cycle and engaging with decision-makers in strategic conversations.
Responsibilities
Own and drive qualified sales opportunities for Managed IT and Cybersecurity services
Lead in-depth discovery and consultative conversations with business owners, CIOs, CTOs, and IT leaders
Convert inbound leads and proactively develop opportunities through outbound and referral channels
Position and sell MSP offerings including helpdesk, NOC, endpoint management, patching, and cybersecurity bundles
Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline aligned with revenue targets
Book and lead sales meetings, demos, and proposal discussions
Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to ensure accurate solution scoping
Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene with accurate forecasting, notes, and activity tracking
Support account expansion, upsell, and cross-sell initiatives post-closure
Act as a trusted advisor to prospects, focusing on business outcomes rather than just services
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience in MSP sales, IT Services sales, or technology consulting
Proven track record of closing or significantly contributing to MSP or IT services deals
Strong understanding of MSP operating models and service offerings, including: Helpdesk & NOC, Endpoint & patch management, Infrastructure monitoring, Cybersecurity services and bundled offerings
Experience selling to North American SMB and mid-market clients
Exceptional spoken English with strong executive-level communication skills
Highly confident on calls and meetings with both technical and business decision-makers
Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working with minimal supervision
Preferred
Background in MSP or IT Services is strongly preferred, but proven capability matters more than labels
A smart, confident, and results-focused salesperson
Someone who can think commercially, ask the right questions, and move deals forward
A professional who takes ownership of numbers, pipeline, and outcomes
