Senior Accounting Manager
Stonegrove Roofing Partners is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to support one of their newly integrated roofing businesses while partnering closely with the corporate accounting team. This role is critical for scaling and centralizing accounting operations across the national platform, requiring a hands-on accounting professional to manage existing books and improve processes.

Responsibilities
Take ownership of existing books, including working through legacy processes, paper-based records, and imperfect data, while driving improvements
Review daily bank activity and lead weekly cash forecasting
Own and manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency
Prepare and review complex accounting calculations, including commissions, WIP, and job-costing-related analysis
Perform general ledger reviews and reconciliations, ensuring data integrity and reliable reporting
Translate financial data into actionable insights for operations and leadership teams
Partner with auditors on key schedules, including acquisition accounting, opening balance sheets, and integration-related reporting
Support onboarding and integration into Sage Intacct, Ramp, payroll systems, and other Stonegrove tools
Help refine, document, and standardize accounting processes as we move toward a more centralized model
Collaborate with corporate leadership and automation resources to reduce manual work and scale efficiently
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
5–8+ years of accounting experience, including time in a progressively responsible or lead-level role
Strong experience with QuickBooks Desktop; ERP experience required (Sage Intacct a strong plus)
Proven ability to work through messy, incomplete, or ambiguous data and bring order to complexity
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical judgment
Experience supervising or mentoring bookkeepers or junior accounting staff
Comfort operating in both hands-on execution and higher-level problem-solving
Excellent communication skills — able to explain financial concepts to non-finance partners
Comfortable navigating change, integration environments, and evolving organizational structures
Preferred
Construction, home services, or multi-site experience is a plus
