The University of South Florida Libraries is seeking a PA/Instr. I to work in the Department of Urology, primarily to treat patients both independently and as a team member with Faculty. The role involves providing patient care, managing records, and participating in clinical and educational programs.

Responsibilities

CLINICAL - This position works in the Department of Urology. Its primary purpose is to treat patients both independently and as a team member with our Faculty. There are two primary practice locations: the USF South Tampa Center (STC) located across from TGH, and the USF Morsani Center (located on the USF campus). This position is to directly support the Stone Center of Excellence of USF Urology. Provides initial and follow-up evaluation, pre-and post-operative patient care. Primarily care for endourology patients
ADMINISTRATIVE - Including but not limited to managing patient records and responding to patient messaging
OTHER - Performs other duties as assigned. Represents and supports the mission, philosophy and goals of the Department of Urology and the University of Florida Tampa General Physicians Group (USFTGP). Participates in clinical and educational programs required for licensure, certification and credentialing
Responsible to a Chair or other appropriate higher-level administrator of a State university
Responsible for teaching, research, service, and related administrative activities
Responsible for academic advising and related activities
May represent the university, college/school, or department

Qualification

Master's DegreeLicensed in FloridaGeneral knowledge of kidney stonesUrologyBoard eligible

Required

Graduate of an accredited program and licensed in the state of Florida
Graduation from an accredited Advanced Practice Registered Nurse academic degree program
Certification as outlined in Florida Statutes 464 and Florida Administrative Code, Chapter 64
Must be board eligible

Preferred

General knowledge of kidney stones with knowledge of urology preferred
