Senior Coordinator, Business Operations - Pediatrics
Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Business Operations to support the BCM-Rice Superfund Research Program. This role involves coordinating with stakeholders, managing budgets, and overseeing financial aspects of the program while supporting grant renewal applications and communication efforts.

Responsibilities
Coordinates day to day operations of the Superfund Research Program
Organizes program meetings, prepare agendas, and track follow up actions
Serves as the primary liaison between BCM, partner institutions, and NIH program staff
Tracks project timelines, deliverables, and progress reports to ensure compliance with NIH requirements
Maintains contact lists, manage program calendars, and coordinate cross institutional schedules
Performs other job related duties as assigned
Tracks expenditures, process invoices, and assist with procurement requests
Supports NIH progress reports and grant renewal applications
Maintains records for compliance with institutional and sponsor requirements
Collaborates with research administration on subcontracts, effort reporting, and financial projections
Develops and maintain program communication materials, including newsletters, websites, and reports
Coordinates outreach events and activities with community partners
Assists with preparation of research highlights, impact statements, and dissemination materials
Assists program faculty with scheduling, travel arrangements, and reimbursement requests
Maintains training program records and assist with evaluation processes
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED
Four years of relevant experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organizational skills
Experience in research administration or grant management
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biology, Health Sciences, Public Health, or related disciplines)
Grant management experience
Experience in research administration or program management within an academic setting
Experience with financial management tools. (e.g Concur)
