Analyst, Contracts (Onsite)

They are seeking an Analyst, Contracts to support contractual administration, compliance, and proposal development for the Land & Air Defense Systems Business Unit. This role involves engaging in contract activities, advising management on contractual obligations, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

General Contract administration and compliance
Contract negotiation support
Proposal support to include analysis of Request for Proposals, coordinating reviews, TINA documentation, and working closely with Program Directors, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Business Managers, Estimating and Supply Chain in the proposal process
Support of Program Management Reviews and contract data inputs/analysis
Ensuring that negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies
Advising management of contractual rights and obligations and possible mitigation of contractual/program risks
Domestic travel may be required (approximately once or twice per year to Huntsville, AL or the greater Boston, MA area). Typical duration of travel is 2-4 days

Required

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
Experience with one or more of the following: Contracts, Supply Chain, Procurement/Acquisitions or Finance

Preferred

Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
Ability to understand the financial aspects of contracts and risk quantification
Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships with customers and internal partners based on understanding, teamwork, and trust
Experience working is a fast-paced environment, where prioritization is required to be effective
Contractual acumen with proficiency in contracts fundamentals
