Responsibilities

Manage and maintain JD Edwards (JDE) environments, including JDE 9.2 Tools Release (9.2.8.1), ESU/ASU upgrades, OMW, environments, pathcodes, and data sources
Oversee package builds and deployments, server monitoring, server performance tuning, JDE schedulers, queues, log cleanup, system restarts, and troubleshooting UBE/kernel issues
Administer IBM i / iSeries (Enterprise Server – V7R4M0) systems: active jobs, subsystems, mutex errors, SQL packages, DB2/400 basics, libraries, job queues, and disaster recovery testing
Administer Linux + WebLogic (HTML & AIS servers): RHEL administration, WebLogic 14.1.1 management, JDK/WebLogic patching, SSL/keystore handling, AIS integrations with 3rd-party APIs, and server installation with auto-start configuration
Manage 3rd-party software integrations with JDE, including ReportsNow, BuildPro, SailPoint, HomeBuilder OS, and multiple boundary applications
Oversee integrations, security, and compliance: LDAP & SSL setup/renewal, AIS troubleshooting, and JDE security monitoring
Lead operations & disaster recovery (DR): daily/weekly monitoring, purge routines, performance tuning, and DR runbook execution
Collaborate with project stakeholders (product owners, UX researchers, data team, QA team, project managers, cross-team leads, and designers) to understand functional and non-functional requirements
Write high-quality, maintainable code and implement unit/integration tests where appropriate
Develop reusable software components and improve performance of existing systems by diagnosing and resolving critical issues
Establish development practices, processes, and mentor software engineers

Required

Master's degree in computer science and worked at a company for 5+ years with web technology stack and web standards. OR
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems or equivalent degree and worked at a company for 7+ years with web technology stack and web standards
Growth mindset and a willingness to learn new skills, technologies, and frameworks
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Proven track record for managing a team of developers to achieve company goals
Proven track record for architecting, scaling and implementing complex technical solutions
Proven track record of leadership in Agile environments, with excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a passion for mentoring and empowering team members
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing
Strong expertise in JavaScript (7+ years) with deep understanding of advanced principles of client-side and server-side development
High proficiency in React.js (5+ years), with a solid background in building performant UI components with modern hooks and design patterns
Strong command of semantic HTML and modern CSS, including CSS-in-JS with a focus on accessibility, SEO, and responsive design principles
Proficiency in Next.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL, demonstrating the ability to architect and implement robust front-end solutions
Knowledge in building and tooling processes such as CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and package managers, coupled with extensive experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex issues
