7+ years expTake2 Consulting, LLC is seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to design, build, and lead a cross-functional team managing their data infrastructure and mobile application development. The ideal candidate will architect and maintain the data warehouse while leading a multidisciplinary team in both technical and leadership capacities.

Responsibilities
Own and evolve our Snowflake data warehouse architecture
Build and optimize data pipelines using dbt and Airbyte
Ensure data quality, governance, and integration with Tableau
Define standards for dimensional modeling and ELT patterns
Lead development of a React Native iOS app using Expo
Build and maintain .NET backend services and integrations
Design APIs and integrations between systems
Lead and mentor data engineers and developers
Run code reviews, sprint planning, and technical scoping
Translate business requirements into technical solutions
Partner with Product, Analytics, and Operations teams
Monitor data pipeline health and application performance
Implement security and compliance controls for sensitive data
Provide technical guidance to stakeholders on technical capabilities
Evaluate and recommend technology solutions and vendors
Conduct technical assessments and create architectural proposals
Guide best practices for data governance, security, and scalability
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree is required
7+ years of professional software engineering experience
5+ years in a technical leadership or architecture role
3+ years of professional React Native mobile development
3+ years in data engineering or data warehouse development
2+ years with .NET backend development
Experience with modern data tools (dbt strongly preferred)
Proven track record of designing, scaling, and deploying distributed systems
Preferred
Experience in fintech, healthcare, or regulated industries
Production experience with Snowflake + dbt + Airbyte stack
Expo experience is a plus
Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Ownership mentality and high accountability for data accuracy, consistency, and integrity
Ability to adapt to ambiguity and fast-paced environments
Collaborative mindset with experience leading cross-functional projects
Problem solver with strategic thinking and execution focus
