Support membrane protein expression and purification
Conduct protein production, purification, and characterization
Perform characterization and quality checks of membrane proteins to support biotherapeutics development
Collaborate effectively in a multi-team environment
Contribute to both internal and external efforts in membrane protein production
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a BS degree with 2–4 years of academic/industry experience, or an MS degree with 1–2 years of experience is required
Must have protein production and purification experience
Must have analytical characterization experience
Must have 2–4 years of experience
Experience with membrane protein expression and optimization, purification, and characterization of proteins
Well-versed in analytical characterization to determine quality, conformation, purity, and stability
Knowledge of protein expression construct design and optimization, and expression platforms
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal and external partners
Preferred
Proficient in protein purification optimization, detergent screening, and reconstitution into lipid nanodiscs
Experience in independently operating AKTA FPLC and analytical HPLC instruments
Experience generating DNA/RNA constructs or other tools as antigens for supporting antibody discovery
Knowledge and experience with CROs for protein production
