Responsibilities

Drive growth by identifying, negotiating, and securing high-impact partnerships

Take a consultative approach to align WGU’s educational solutions with partner workforce development needs

Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate partners in collaboration with Partner Success teams, ensuring KPIs and MoU commitments are met

Engage decision-makers and HR leaders to understand workforce challenges and propose tailored solutions

Introduce measurable, outcome-driven campaigns aligned with organizational goals and WGU offerings

Leverage industry insights to customize solutions for maximum impact

Collaborate with internal teams—including Schools, Operations, Marketing, Career Services, and Alumni Relations—to activate and execute partner deliverables

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or related field

4 to 6 years of experience in business development and strategic partnership management with a record of high performance in solution selling

Proven ability to lead new partner acquisition efforts, including prospecting, negotiation, and execution of partnership agreements

Knowledge and use of Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite is equally desirable

Ability to travel up to 30%; Due to the travel requirements of this position, applicants should be located within a two-hour driving distance of a major airport
