Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable web and mobile test automation frameworks, leveraging tools such as Playwright, Appium, JavaScript, and Java
Define and promote testing and quality standards across teams, including TDD practices and QA best practices for both frontend and backend systems
Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to build tools and systems that enhance the efficiency and quality of internal software delivery processes
Evaluate and implement modern test automation solutions for web (e.g., React, Angular) and mobile (e.g., React Native) platforms
Analyze test logs, system configurations, and test execution data to continuously optimize quality practices and identify areas for improvement
Provide guidance on CI/CD pipelines, ensuring tests are integrated into automated delivery workflows
Support teams in adopting automation strategies and quality improvements at scale, acting as a subject matter expert and internal consultant
Drive innovation in internal QA tools, enabling faster and more efficient co-delivery across teams
Champion a culture of continuous improvement in software quality, maintainability, and testability
Qualification
Required
Must have excellent, clear communication
Strong Test Automation Expertise in Web & Mobile
8+ years of hands-on experience with tools like Playwright (Web), Appium (Mobile), Java, and JavaScript
Experience testing apps built with React, Angular, and React Native
Proven ability to lead QA strategy, enhance automation frameworks, and define testing standards across teams
Deep Understanding of Software Delivery & CI/CD -Experience with TDD, CI/CD pipelines, and the ability to analyze logs, configurations, and automation efficiency
MUST have experience in retail, distribution or food and beverage as E-COMMERCE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
Proven track record in leading QA initiatives, improving testing processes, and driving adoption of quality standards
Strong hands-on experience with modern test automation frameworks: Mobile: Appium, Web: Playwright, JavaScript, Java
Experience testing applications built with React, Angular, React Native, and microservices/micro-frontend architectures
Deep understanding of TDD (Test-Driven Development) and implementing CI/CD workflows in software delivery
Solid background in API testing using tools like RestAssured, Karate, or equivalent
Demonstrated ability to analyze logs/configurations and establish QA best practices to support internal developer efficiency
