Responsibilities
Perform reviews of electromagnetic pump drawings with manufacturers to ensure the design meets performance requirements and is manufacturable
Review analysis of electromagnetic pump models and simulation results
Manage time effectively to deliver high-quality work within project timelines and budgeted hours
Communicate status updates and progress of work activities to leadership
Identify and manage project execution risks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or another engineering discipline from an accredited college or university
Demonstrated ability and proficiency in the design of electromagnetic pumps
At least 2 years of experience with sodium fast reactors
5+ years of experience with mechanical design and manufacturing of electromagnetic pumps
Preferred
Experience working on project-based assignments with schedule and time constraints
Ability to work efficiently and deliver high-quality results within scope, schedule, and cost targets
Knowledge or experience in the nuclear industry
Ability to read and interpret drawings and utilize Inventor to determine component dimensions, features, interfaces, masses, and stiffnesses
