Responsibilities
Assist in developing and maintaining network communications
Test and assess LAN/WAN systems to eliminate problems and make improvements
Assemble and arrange materials and equipment for network cabling
Run, pull, stop, and splice copper and fiber optic cables (e.g., CAT5, CAT6, low voltage cables)
Provide test equipment for testing new and suspected faulty cable connections
Measure and replace identified faulty fiber cables
Qualification
Required
Must have 2+ years of Experience in Network Engineering
Assist in developing and maintaining network communications
Test and assess LAN/WAN systems to eliminate problems and make improvements
Assemble and arrange materials and equipment for network cabling
Run, pull, stop, and splice copper and fiber optic cables (e.g., CAT5, CAT6, low voltage cables)
Provide test equipment for testing new and suspected faulty cable connections
Measure and replace identified faulty fiber cables
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
