Responsibilities
Efficiently process a variety of transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and money orders
Accurately maintain member account information
Balance cash drawers and complete daily transaction reports
Conduct loan interviews and gather necessary documentation
Process loan applications and closings
Cross-sell loan-related products and services
Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to member needs and offering tailored solutions
Assist members with account openings, closings, and maintenance
Advise members on credit union products and services
Resolve member inquiries and concerns
Identify cross-selling opportunities and proactively promote relevant products and services
Educate members on the benefits of various financial products
Meet or exceed sales goals
Perform miscellaneous tasks such as ordering checks, processing wire transfers, and resetting passwords
Stay up to date on credit union policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Represent the credit union at events, conferences, and other functions as needed
Qualification
Required
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to accurately process financial transactions and maintain detailed records
Comfortable educating members on products and confidently suggesting solutions
Solid understanding of basic financial products, or willingness to learn quickly
Goal-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Six months to two years of similar or related experience
Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, internet, and data-base management
Ability to coordinate with other staff, departments, officials, and the public
Ability to communicate ideas and instructions clearly and concisely
