Mass Spectrometry Sales Manager

They are seeking a Mass Spectrometry Sales Manager to drive revenue growth in the Biotech and Pharmaceutical sectors by managing the sales lifecycle and building long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

Strategic Account Management: Identify and develop key accounts within the Pharma and Biotech sectors, building long-term partnerships with lab managers, procurement heads, and principal investigators
Technical Consultation: Conduct high-level technical discussions regarding MS applications (e.g., proteomics, metabolomics, lipidomics, or biological characterization) to align our solutions with client research goals
Technical Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the subject expert in LC-MS technologies, leveraging product knowledge to close deals and reach revenue targets
Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the full sales funnel, providing accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with our technical support team and sales team to ensure successful sales cycle and post-sale customer satisfaction
Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of competitor movements, market trends, and emerging new technology within the Mass Spectrometry space

Qualification

Required

Minimum of 3+ years of direct sales experience in the Biotech and Pharmaceutical industry
Proven experience selling life sciences services
A background in LC-MS or GC-MS is highly preferred
B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field
Proven ability to work effectively from a home office while managing a large geographic territory
Willingness to travel frequently (up to 35%) for face-to-face client meetings, trade shows, and conferences
Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical data into value-based business propositions

Preferred

A background in LC-MS or GC-MS is highly preferred
