Responsibilities

Oversee all accounting functions including general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing

Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and internal controls such as SOX standards

Perform balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to maintain accurate financial records

Manage cash flow and cash management activities to optimize liquidity

Conduct regular account reconciliation and review of the general ledger to ensure accuracy

Support regulatory compliance efforts by preparing necessary documentation for audits and governmental reporting

Supervise accounting staff and coordinate with external auditors during audits or reviews

Required

Experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager

Strong technical accounting skills

Expertise in various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Netsuite or similar platforms

10 years of accounting experience with 5 years in the healthcare industry

Proficiency in general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing

Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and internal controls such as SOX standards

Perform balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to maintain accurate financial records

Manage cash flow and cash management activities to optimize liquidity

Conduct regular account reconciliation and review of the general ledger to ensure accuracy

Support regulatory compliance efforts by preparing necessary documentation for audits and governmental reporting

Supervise accounting staff and coordinate with external auditors during audits or reviews

Strong understanding of financial concepts including balance sheet reconciliation, intercompany transactions, account analysis, debits & credits, and general ledger reconciliation

Experience with cash management, payroll processing, and financial analysis

Excellent analytical skills with a focus on accuracy in account reconciliation and technical accounting procedures

Natural ability to influence decisions through empathy, vision, expertise, and effective communication
