3+ years expMindlance is a confidential company seeking a Technical Writer. The main function of a Technical Writer is to write technical materials and maintain technical records, while also contributing to project strategies and ensuring documentation consistency.

Responsibilities
Writers, edits, and revises documentation for internal and external corporate use
Performs large or complex portions of documentation projects across multiple product lines or specialization areas
Works on technically complex and high-impact projects and deliverables where ingenuity and basic business understanding is required
Responsibility includes revision and approval of documentation and ensuring consistency across assigned area(s)
Contributes to the project strategy to meet target goals and milestones, evaluates resource allocation needs, and monitors project risks to determine the best mitigation path
Performs any other assigned tasks related to technical writing
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree required
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a technical writer (Life sciences)
Specific experience in IVD/Medical devices required
Experience in medical device industry, regulations and governance requirements (required)
Advanced knowledge of Desktop Publishing tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe FrameMaker (Required)
Solid documentation and communication skills
Good grammar and punctuation skills
Preferred
Knowledge of MadCap Flare highly desired
Experience working for a med dev company
Wrote tech. documentation for a medical device or IVD product
Clear understanding between med devices/IVD
