Responsibilities

Delivering online lessons and assignments in UX Design principles, tools, and techniques through our course management platform (Brightspace)
Providing regular feedback, guidance, and mentoring support to students to facilitate their learning and skill development while conveying confidence in every student’s ability to learn
Cultivating a collaborative and participatory online learning environment that values diversity of people, ideas, cultures, and forms of expression
Evaluating student performance and progress and providing timely assessment
Fostering a safe environment that respects the diversity of people and ideas by modeling respect for all students and conveying confidence in every student’s ability to learn

Required

Master's degree in technical communication or related field or a bachelor's degree and three (3) years of professional experience in areas such as UX research, UX analytics, UX writing and/or content design, usability and heuristic evaluation, accessibility, wireframing/prototyping, and/or content optimization and strategy
Must have technical knowledge and proficiency in interaction design technologies (e.g., Figma) and the Adobe Suite, as well as remote collaboration tools

Preferred

Teaching experience at the college level
For candidates with master's degrees, professional experience in the field of UX
