MFC Sales Manager
Marcus Food Company is bringing efficiency and transparency to the protein trading industry. They are seeking a Sales Manager to cultivate and scale a high-performing sales team that meets and exceeds goals while providing exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities
Sales Growth
Ensure continuous revenue growth and all other identified team performance metrics
Identify opportunities to grow market share, increase wallet share of owned accounts, and acquire new customers
Team Management
Resolve team member disputes through fair and equitable arbitration
Maintain high morale and limit attrition
Manage risk and service quality for sales team members through audit and enforcement of policy & process adherence, including but not limited to, reviewing submitted orders for errors, addressing sales-owned Operational Errors, Quotes process, Inventory Policy, HR policies, and general standards around risk mitigation, profitability, and value alignment
Team Member Development
Performance management and development planning at all stages of the team member lifecycle
Support the sales team through weekly 1 on 1 connects with direct reports to ensure company KPIs, objectives, and sales member growth are supported
Dedicated coaching and mentorship for new hires, including call shadowing and side-by-side calling as new hires prospect and work leads
Continuous education development and planning to support the company's objectives and sales growth
Sales Process & Business Development
Help define and implement more structured Sales Processes
Identify missed account opportunities and support the sales team in account plans to deepen relationships
Work closely with our Business Development team with warm lead hand-offs
Ensure maximum ROI with conferences and account visits
Interdepartmental Collaboration
Prompt, accurate, and professional response to all requests for data, insights, reporting, or other information
Support the rollout of new processes & initiatives and manage sales team members' adoption and adherence
Organizational Strategy
Generate, oversee, maintain, and provide accurate information and insights as expected and requested by organizational leaders
Execute and support organizational initiatives (Rocks, etc.) within the sales team
Organize and deliver sales and market content to the organization through participating in and or running company meetings
Thoughtful and data-driven forecasting of sales performance
Market Awareness
Use industry resources and internal experts to identify and forecast market trends and customer needs
Collaborate with procurement to identify opportunities for speculation as they arise and submit to Director for approval
Qualification
Required
1+ years of experience in protein sales
Proven track record of excellent customer service
Good standing in existing customer and organizational relationships
Ability to be consistently active & available during all business hours unless on PTO
[Internal Candidates] Rolling 2 quarters with good standing in all quota and other performance metrics, as well as with other team members, and not currently on a Performance Improvement Plan
Proven ability to build, maintain, and scale a book of business
Strong history of responsiveness and professionalism in interdepartmental relationships
