Responsibilities
Lab-based role focused on cell handling and flow cytometry, including routine sample processing and project-based work to enhance the capabilities of flow cytometry assays
Participate in the development and validation of new laboratory procedures and tests
Operate and maintain cytometer-related computer hardware and software
Preparing solutions and samples for cytometer-related assays
Maintain detailed documentation of scientific work in an electronic notebook
Qualification
Required
B.S. in biological or biochemical sciences (or a related field) with 3-4 years of relevant laboratory experience. M.S. in biological or biochemical sciences (or related field) with 1-2 years of relevant laboratory experience
Expert in cell handling and cell flow cytometry (familiarity in operating the Cytoflex instrument is a plus)
Proficiency in data analysis software such as FlowJo, Cytexpert, or similar platforms
Strong organizational, time management, and troubleshooting abilities with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to design experiments and interpret data, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Preferred
Expert in multi-color flow cytometry with a minimum of 2 colors
Familiarity with electronic lab notebook (ELN) documentation
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
