Responsibilities

Project co-ordination for DER Gateway, Controller and DER Aggregator projects for Utility Interconnection

Project Engineering and Configuration for DER Gateways and Controllers

Product testing, validation and SCADA pre-testing in ASE Labs or customer Labs / Sites

Site Commissioning Support and Utility SCADA testing support for PTO / Interconnection

Application Engineering Support to Sales and Business Development teams, to help customers better understand the project requirements and Utility requirements

Required

3+ years in DER / Renewable Industry

Engineering and Site commissioning experience with PV / BESS projects

Experience with Inverters, Gateways, Storage, Power Control System or Energy Management system

Experience with Utility Communication or Automation, working on areas like Automation / Telecom / Utility Communication / SCADA / RTU / Gateway / Test Sets / Protection Relay Protocol

Experience with DER / IEEE 1547 Protocols like DNP3, SunSpec Modbus and IEEE 2030.5 using RS232 / 485 or Ethernet or Cellular communication

Basic understanding of communication protocols / Wireshark and traffic analysis

Good written and oral English communication and customer management skills

Self-driven and able to independently coordinate with Customer and manage projects

Associate degree or higher

Preferred

Experience with Utility Communication or Automation, working on areas like Automation / Telecom / Utility Communication / SCADA / RTU / Gateway / Test Sets / Protection Relay Protocol Experience
