Responsibilities

Oversee the preparation and review of tax returns, including C-corporations, S-corporations, and partnerships
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, maintaining accuracy and timeliness
Provide strategic tax planning advice to optimize financial outcomes for clients
Manage and mentor team members, encouraging attention to detail and collaboration
Conduct annual income tax provisions and ensure accurate reporting
Utilize tax software such as CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax to streamline processes
Monitor changes in tax laws and advise clients on implications for their business
Assist in entity formation, ensuring proper tax setup and compliance
Review partnership tax returns and provide detailed analysis to clients
Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives

Required

Extensive experience in tax preparation and compliance for C-corporations, S-corporations, and partnerships
Proficiency in using tax software, including CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax
Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels
Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively
Expertise in annual income tax provisions and corporate tax returns
Familiarity with partnership tax returns and entity formation processes
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills to convey complex tax concepts clearly to clients and team members
