Responsibilities

Assist with month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
Familiarity with financial statements and supporting schedules
Oversee and review accounting entries prepared by administrative or clerical staff to ensure accuracy and consistency
Help develop, document, and improve accounting policies and procedures
Track daily cash balances and support cash flow visibility for ownership
Ensure timely and accurate general ledger activity
Partner with ownership and leadership on financial reporting and process improvement initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience in a senior accountant, accounting manager, or similar hands-on accounting role
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes
Comfortable working in a small business environment with broad responsibilities
Ability to both execute and review accounting work
Strong experience in Excel
