Responsibilities

Researching, developing, and producing creative and engaging content that captures the attention of the audience

Working with Associate Producers to view, log and cue studio show elements

Identifying and publishing game highlights from in-progress games

Supporting show staff with administrative projects and other show-related needs

Making data-informed decisions about what’s resonating to connect our audience with the stories that matter

Required

Experience: Sports & TV Production – 2+ years

Education: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications or related field preferred or equivalent work experience

Technical skills: Knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques, knowledge of studio-based production and postproduction, familiarity with studio, production, and post production equipment and software, basic understanding of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of television broadcasting systems

Skills: Overall sports knowledge

Abilities: Requires adaptability, enthusiasm, initiative and a positive approach to problem solving

Travel Ability: Must be open to travel to discover the important stories in your neighborhood and willing to interact with the community

Schedule: Ability to work various shifts, longer shifts, weekends and holidays, and be flexible with schedule changes due to 'breaking news', and/or severe weather emergencies
