Lead Product Engineer - Complex Control

Eaton is a company in the engineering sector, currently seeking a Lead Product Engineer - Complex Control for its Satellite Business Unit. The role involves executing engineering and technical functions to support complex switchboard projects, while serving as a resource for all Satellite locations.

Responsibilities

Create control schematics and point to point wiring diagrams, when required, complete with standard bills of material etc. to ensure execution of satellite business unit goals
Prepare all drawings and manufacturing information (3D drawings/modeling when required, mechanical drawings as required
Serve as an engineering subject matter expert and point of contact for the product engineers within in the Satellites, and act as an engineering resource for product testing issues
Train others on the use of engineering software programs, such as Bid Manager, Plant Order Manager, and AutoCAD
Assist with the product engineering role at satellite locations across the business unit, as needed
Maintain good working relationships with customers, distributors, supply chain, Eaton sales personnel and internal plant personnel in support of a quality customer service effort
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited educational institution
Minimum two (2) years of product or design engineering experience (including co-ops and internships) in a manufacturing environment
Ability to travel approximately up to 50% of the time

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology
Minimum three (3) year of system controls engineering experience (including co-ops and internships) in a manufacturing environment
