Engineering Test Technician
Eaton is a leading company in the IS VEH VGGP division, currently seeking an Engineering Test Technician. The role involves operating and maintaining test equipment, setting up tests, collecting data, and troubleshooting issues to support product development and validation.

Responsibilities
Conduct mechanical set-up including installing superchargers on a stand using various fixtures
Operate test equipment using controls software including iTest and National Instruments
Collect test data and familiarity with instrumentation (e.g., thermocouples, flowmeters, pressure transducers)
Assist with mechanical teardown and failure analysis of tested assemblies
Assist in prototype assembly and sample builds
Utilize precision tools and equipment, including dial indicators, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines
Provide support across test lab areas as needed
Ensure compliance with EHS, material handling, and quality control processes (e.g., LOTO, inventory management)
Drive continuous improvement in quality, performance, cost, and standardization
Qualification
Required
Minimum High School Diploma/GED equivalent from an accredited institution
Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive, mechanical, or industrial background
