The role involves building, staging, and installing hardware at customer sites, requiring strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset while traveling across the U.S.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Stage & build implementation hardware (racks/shelves, scanners, controllers, peripherals) prior to deployments
Install & configure equipment on customer sites; mount devices, connect power/data, and run functional tests
Travel nationwide to complete installations and site support (air/hotel provided)
Coordinate with PMs, sales, fabrication shop, and site stakeholders to keep timelines on track
Verify & document inventory, configuration, and test results; escalate issues and drive resolution
Support post‑install technology checks and light troubleshooting; contribute to continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Foundational IT knowledge equivalent to Helpdesk/Desktop/PC Tech/AV support or completion of A+ / Network+ coursework/certifications or an Associate's in IT (or similar)
Comfort with PC hardware setup, basic networking, device configuration, and installing peripherals
Strong customer service skills including de‑escalation, clear communication, and professionalism
Ownership mentality—proactive, resourceful, and able to solve problems independently on the road
Valid driver's license; ability to travel with short walking/standing/occasional lifting during installs
Preferred
CompTIA A+
Experience with desktop configuration and field implementations
Basic familiarity with inventory systems or healthcare environments
