The role involves building and maintaining web applications, APIs, and integrations that support Apple's global logistics and inventory initiatives.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain features for existing Rails 5/6 applications

Design and implement API integrations with third-party companies and internal systems

Collaborate with internal and external technical teams to deliver scalable solutions

Troubleshoot and resolve performance, capacity, and system limitations

Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across platforms

Required

8+ years of Ruby on Rails development experience (expert-level proficiency)

Strong experience with API design and integration (JSON, REST, RPC, XML, ProtoBuf)

Solid understanding of front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, JQuery)

Familiarity with CI/CD tools (CircleCI, Jenkins) and testing frameworks (RSpec, MiniTest)

MacOS knowledge and experience with AWS (EC2, RDS) preferred
