Responsibilities
Direct all phases of construction, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, coordination, and closeout
Ensure projects are delivered with a high level of quality, safety, and client satisfaction
Develop and maintain detailed project budgets
Monitor financial performance, control costs, and identify opportunities for value engineering
Develop comprehensive project schedules and manage critical path activities
Anticipate delays and adjust timelines proactively
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and ownership groups
Communicate project status, resolve issues, and ensure expectations are exceeded
Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiate agreements, and monitor performance
Ensure scope alignment, schedule adherence, and quality execution
Provide leadership to field and office staff including site superintendents and project engineers
Foster a collaborative, accountable, and results-driven team culture
Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
Ensure compliance with local codes, OSHA safety regulations, and company policies
Maintain accurate project records and documentation via Procore or similar platforms
Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership and stakeholders
Ensure projects are delivered with a high level of quality, safety, and client satisfaction
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in a General Contracting environment
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered
Strong understanding of construction methods, contracts, safety practices, and regulatory requirements
Proficiency with construction management tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar
Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage multiple projects concurrently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on relationship-building and conflict resolution
Highly organized with exceptional time management and attention to detail
Project management: 3 years (Required)
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered
