Responsibilities

Achieve sales targets within the labor and trust segment

Develop deep, trust-based relationships with fund trustees (labor and management), fund administrators, and key benefits consultants who advise these plans

Own and execute the full-cycle sales process, including identification, outreach, education, proposal delivery, presentation to boards of trustees, and securing approvals

Collaborate effectively with internal teams (e.g., marketing, underwriting, compliance, operations) to ensure regulatory alignment and smooth plan implementation for clients

Required

5+ years of sales experience selling member benefits to the labor and trust segment

Deep, firsthand knowledge of the union and trust governance model, decision-making processes, and consultant and administrator landscape

Proven success building long-term relationships with fund trustees and administrators to drive sales conversion

A proactive, problem-solving, and results-oriented approach with a history of hitting targets

Excellent communication and presentation skills, specifically demonstrating the ability to articulate value to a board of trustees

Comfort (and enthusiasm!) operating in a fast-paced startup environment, often navigating ambiguity and helping create structure where little exists

Strong CRM hygiene (we use Hubspot) and experience with the Google Workspace suite
