Responsibilities
Set up, calibrate, and operate manual and automated machinery, including multi-spindle screw machines such as Tornos, Acme, and Gridley, to fabricate precision components
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machine tools and related equipment
Interpret technical drawings and documents to guide machining procedures
Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet quality standards
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings along with strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs. and stand for the length of shift
Preferred
Prior experience in a screw machinist position preferred, previous experience as a screw machine operator may be considered as an alternative
