Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end architecture and design for Sales Cloud and Service Cloud implementations
Translate business and functional requirements into scalable Salesforce solution architectures
Define data models, sharing models, security frameworks, and integration patterns
Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, platform limits, and governance standards
Review and guide implementation decisions to ensure long-term maintainability and scalability
Architect and optimize core Sales Cloud features including Leads, Opportunities, Forecasting, and Automation
Design Service Cloud solutions including Case Management, Omni-Channel, CTI, Knowledge, and Service Console
Guide configuration and customization using Flows, Apex (as needed), and Lightning components
Support performance optimization and platform stability across high-usage environments
Design and oversee integrations between Salesforce and external systems (ERP, IAM, CRM, data platforms)
Define API strategies using REST/SOAP, middleware, or event-driven architectures
Ensure data consistency, reliability, and fault tolerance across integrated systems
Collaborate with enterprise architects on cross-platform integration standards
Architect Salesforce security models including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and data access controls
Design identity and access integrations using SSO, OAuth, Okta, Azure AD , or similar platforms
Enforce governance, compliance, and audit standards across Salesforce implementations
Support release management, change control, and environment strategy (Dev / QA / Prod)
Partner with business leaders, product owners, and delivery teams to align solutions with business goals
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and administrators
Participate in architecture reviews, design sessions, and technical decision-making forums
Contribute to Salesforce roadmap planning, enhancements, and platform evolution initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
6+ years of Salesforce experience, with 3+ years in an Architect or Solution Architect role
Deep hands-on expertise with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
Strong experience in Salesforce data modeling, integrations, and platform architecture
Solid understanding of Salesforce security, sharing, and identity management
Experience delivering Salesforce solutions in enterprise or large-scale environments
Preferred
Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Architect, Application Architect, or System Architect
Experience with Salesforce integrations involving ERP, IAM, or customer platforms
Exposure to Experience Cloud, CTI integrations, or Omni-Channel implementations
Prior experience working in regulated or high-compliance enterprise environments
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
