Responsibilities
Operate and manage AWS cloud infrastructure including compute, networking, storage, and platform services that support CMS cloud program environments
Work closely with other cloud engineers, operations staff, and customer teams to deliver and improve cloud services
Assist the team in troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and resolving challenges across cloud environments
Contribute to a collaborative team that supports multiple tenants and shared platform capabilities
Support day-to-day cloud operations, capacity management, and activities that maintain stable and reliable cloud environments
Use AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Route 53, ECS/EKS, and IAM to provision, configure, and enhance cloud solutions
Contribute to automation, monitoring, and improvements that increase the performance, reliability, and scalability of cloud environments
Qualification
Required
5 + years of related experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, or work experience
Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM)
Linux system administration

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred
Bachelors degree
AWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate
