Responsibilities
Own full-cycle recruiting for Debt Resolution Attorneys and Litigation Attorneys across multiple jurisdictions
Build and maintain evergreen attorney pipelines, regardless of current openings
Proactively source attorneys through LinkedIn, legal networks, bar associations, referrals, and direct outreach
Engage passive attorney candidates and maintain long-term relationships through consistent, value-driven communication
Anticipate hiring needs and source ahead of demand to reduce time-to-fill and business disruption
Support recruiting for other legal roles as required (e.g., paralegals, legal operations coordinators, offer coordinators, filing coordinators, or other legal operations roles)
Partner closely with hiring leaders to define role requirements, success profiles, and hiring timelines within a regulated environment
Act as a consultative advisor on interview design, evaluation criteria, and selection decisions
Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, delivering a professional, timely, and transparent experience
Provide market insights related to attorney availability, compensation expectations, and hiring timelines
Maintain consistent communication with leaders regarding pipeline health, risks, and hiring progress
Conduct structured, competency-based phone screens to assess legal experience, judgment, and role alignment
Manage candidate pipelines with accuracy and consistency to support high-volume hiring demands
Ensure recruiting activities comply with applicable employment laws, internal controls, and background screening requirements
Maintain accurate and complete documentation within the ATS to support audits, reporting, and onboarding
Partner with HR and operations to coordinate background screening and pre-employment requirements
Handle confidential candidate and legally sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen recruiting effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required; HR, Business, or a related field preferred
3+ years of experience recruiting attorneys in debt resolution, litigation, consumer finance, or comparable legal environments, preferably within fast-paced or high-volume settings
Demonstrated proficiency in sourcing candidates across multiple platforms, including LinkedIn, Indeed, legal job boards, and ATS systems
Proven success with proactive sourcing and evergreen pipeline development, not solely reactive requisition fulfillment
Experience engaging, nurturing, and maintaining long-term relationships with passive legal candidates
Strong understanding of multi-state legal hiring requirements, including attorney licensure and jurisdictional considerations
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence, advise, and build credibility with legal leaders and candidates
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple searches simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and compliance
Preferred
Experience working in multi-state legal environments
Familiarity with PEO environments (Insperity, ADP, etc.)
Prior experience hiring for consumer finance, legal services, settlements, or regulated client-facing roles
Strong analytical skills with the ability to track, interpret, and communicate recruiting metrics, pipeline health, and time-to-fill trends
