Responsibilities
Architect and build internal and client-facing systems end-to-end
Design and maintain CRM workflows, automations, and data flows
Own system reliability, scalability, and long-term resilience
Troubleshoot live systems and eliminate repeat failures
Build guardrails: error handling, retries, monitoring, and documentation
Lead discovery conversations and solution design with clients
Translate business needs into practical, durable system designs
Push back on fragile or non-scalable ideas and propose better alternatives
Qualification
Required
Strong, hands-on experience building and maintaining production systems using Make.com
Strong, hands-on experience building and maintaining production systems using Zapier
Strong, hands-on experience building and maintaining production systems using n8n
Strong, hands-on experience building and maintaining production systems using Airtable (or similar database tools)
Designing complex, multi-step automations
Handling error states, retries, and fallbacks
Managing data consistency across systems
Debugging failures in live environments
Strong systems thinking and architecture judgment
Experience with CRMs (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, or similar)
A track record of troubleshooting complex, multi-system workflows
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Comfort working directly with clients and stakeholders
Preferred
AI tooling embedded into workflows
Consulting or agency environments
Client-facing solution architecture
Residential services industry experience (home services, trades, field services, etc.)
Any documentation, diagrams, or write-ups you're proud of (optional but encouraged)
