Responsibilities
Serve as primary executive sponsor for MBG's independent agent network, ensuring consistent engagement, trust, and collaboration
Identify, recruit, and onboard new high-performing agency partners in target geographies
Develop and lead sales strategies to achieve annual premium growth for both PL and CL
Partner with Underwriting and Product teams to drive profitable business mix and achieve combined ratio targets
Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales, marketing, and agency management professionals
Foster a high-performance culture aligned with MBG's mission and values
Monitor competitor activity, distribution trends, and regional opportunities to inform sales strategy
Provide input into new product development, pricing, and appetite adjustments based on market feedback
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Minimum 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in P&C insurance, with strong knowledge of both Personal and Commercial Lines distribution
Demonstrated success in managing independent agent relationships and delivering profitable growth
Strong business acumen, including familiarity with underwriting, claims, and financial performance metrics
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically
Willingness to travel across PA and MD (50%)
