Responsibilities

Build and nurture our developer community across Discord, Twitter, and LinkedIn through authentic engagement and valuable content
Create and share technical content tailored to developers: tutorials, demos, integration guides, and example projects
Host online workshops, AMAs, and community events to showcase what developers are building
Develop creator and ambassador programs to identify and empower community champions
Collaborate with other robotics and simulation communities to expand our reach
Understand Drift deeply enough to answer technical questions and help developers troubleshoot
Create sample code, reference architectures, and getting-started guides
Bridge feedback between the community and the engineering team to influence the product roadmap
Track emerging trends in robotics simulation tools (Gazebo, MuJoCo, Isaac Sim) to identify partnership opportunities

Required

1-2 years in technical roles (software engineer or related) with hands-on coding experience
Familiarity with robotics concepts and CLI tools—you don't need to be an expert, but must be comfortable learning technical systems quickly
Proven track record building online communities or active presence in developer communities (Discord servers, Twitter tech communities, open source projects)
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
Self-starter who can own outcomes with minimal supervision
