Responsibilities

Process payments for overhead expenses and accounts payable/receivable; verify vendor invoice authorization and prepare wire transfer instructions or checks
Enter accounting entries and administrative data into QuickBooks and Midas (GL) systems; onboard vendors in QuickBooks and maintain departmental logs and ledgers
Assist in the preparation of sales/use tax and commercial rent tax returns, and support annual expense budgeting
Support the annual policy and procedure review process, including updates to the branch policy database and the CAR (Customer Account Records) systems in Midas and Summit
Maintain records related to signature verification and tax documentation for customer files
Coordinate travel arrangements, telecom needs, supply orders, onsite tech support calls, and vendor contact for repairs and maintenance
Help coordinate onsite and offsite events and maintain accurate records of office activity and expenditures

Required

Approximately 5 years of administrative experience, ideally within a banking or financial services environment
Hands-on accounting background and familiarity with general ledger systems
Highly skilled in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
Knowledge of telecommunications systems, mailroom operations, and general office infrastructure
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

Preferred

Proficiency in QuickBooks or a similar accounting system preferred
Basic knowledge of Midas and Summit systems preferred
