Insurance Account Manager Commercial Lines
The Mid-State Group is seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Manager to manage client relationships and ensure exceptional service with various types of commercial insurance programs. The role involves handling business insurance accounts, providing customer service, processing policies and claims, and maintaining detailed records.

Responsibilities
Manage a variety of business insurance accounts such as Work Comp, Business Liability, Business Auto etc. for employers ranging from 2-500 employees
Provide excellent customer service via email, telephone, or zoom on all business insurance matters in order to obtain 100% client retention
Address and abate escalated issues that arise from customer claims, renewal increases etc
Counsel clients and employees on complex billing questions
Process, prepare, and submit business or government forms, such as submitting applications for coverage to insurance carriers
Process and record new insurance policies and claims, create Certificates of Insurance for clients
Process and prepare existing client renewals 45 days prior to their renewal date
Correspond with insured or producer to obtain information or inform them account status or changes
Organize and work with detailed office records, maintaining files for each policyholder, including policies that are to be reinstated or cancelled
Modify, update, and process existing policies and claims to reflect any changes
Transcribe data to worksheets and enter data into computer for use in preparing documents and adjusting accounts
Examine letters from policyholders or agents, original insurance applications, and other company documents to determine if changes are needed and effects of changes
Compare information from application to criteria for policy reinstatement and approve reinstatement when criteria are met

Education: HS Diploma or equivalent
Experience: One to two years related COMMERCIAL INSURANCE experience
Computer Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and have the ability to learn other computer programs quickly
Preferred
Experience working in agency management Applied EPIC
Applied EPIC experience preferred
