Freeman Holdings Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Avionics Technician to join their dedicated avionics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, repairs, installations, and alterations on a variety of general aviation aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform ICA inspections, avionics installations, IFR & RVSM certifications

Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical system malfunctions

Ensure all work is performed in accordance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), manufacturer's manuals, service bulletins, and company policies and procedures

Accurately document all work performed, including parts used, discrepancies found, and corrective actions taken, in aircraft logbooks and maintenance records

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained and accounted for

Communicate effectively with pilots, customers, and other avionics personnel regarding aircraft status and avionics findings

Stay current with industry best practices, new technologies, and regulatory changes

Adhere to all safety procedures and practices

May be required to perform other duties as assigned

Required

Has held a repairman's certificate or equivalent for avionics

Minimum of 3+ years experience with electronics or avionics installation, in general aviation is strongly desired

Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, including airframe structures, engines, propellers, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, landing gear, and environmental control systems

Proven ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to lift and move heavy objects

Valid driver's license

Ability to get a repairman's certificate
