CHEManager International is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position in health equity research within the Department of Social Sciences and Health Policy. The role involves managing studies, collaborating on grant writing, and advancing personal research in health disparities focused on people of African descent.

Working with, training, and mentoring students and other project staff

Required

Ph.D. or equivalent research doctorate (e.g. Sc.D.) in any relevant discipline, including public health and the social and behavioral sciences (e.g., psychology). Candidates must have received a doctoral degree from an accredited educational institution by the start of the appointment
Experience in health interventions, community-engaged research, and/or community-based participatory research
Experience leading research projects, as well as first-authored publications from that work
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to provide evidence of past work or skillsets
Willingness to travel between Winston-Salem, Charlotte and occasionally Raleigh/Durham for research related activities

Preferred

Strong qualitative and/or quantitative research skills, with proficiency in SPSS, SAS, or Stata is preferred
Candidates with at least 1-2 years of postdoctoral research experience are preferred
