The successful applicants are expected to work with faculty to develop a robust research program and contribute to the teaching mission of the department, with opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration in areas such as Data Science and Bioinformatics.
Responsibilities
Work with the mathematical sciences faculty in the department and develop a robust research program
Contribute to the teaching mission of the department
Participate with WPI's growing interdisciplinary programs
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Mathematics or Statistics, or related area
Ability to develop a robust research program
Contribution to the teaching mission of the department
Participation in interdisciplinary programs, including Data Science and Bioinformatics and Computational Biology
Submission of a single pdf that contains (1) a cover letter (2) a curriculum vitae (3) a teaching statement and (4) a statement of research objectives
Four letters of recommendation, at least one of which addresses teaching experience or potential
