Talent Selection Specialist
Akron Children's is seeking a Talent Selection Specialist for an 18-month temporary assignment. The role involves providing recruitment and staffing services to hiring leaders by delivering top talent and ensuring a diverse pool of candidates.

Responsibilities
Plans and executes the sourcing, recruiting, selection, and hiring process to ensure a diverse pool of top talent for the organization while maintaining excellent relations with hiring managers, co-workers, candidates, and the community
Sets service level agreements with hiring managers to define roles/responsibilities and control the hiring process
Prepares candidates for interviews with hiring managers by providing information on the hospital, business strategy, department background, job description, and expectations
Maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation on all applicants, searches, hiring manager interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure accurate reporting of employment activities and successful outcomes of audits
Participates in departmental activities including performance and process improvement
Other duties as required
Qualification
Required
Must reside in Ohio at the time of hire
Experience in full lifecycle recruiting is required
Experience in applicable State and Federal employment laws is required
Experience in working with all levels within an organization is required
Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is required
Years of relevant experience: 3 years is required
Preferred
Experience in medium to large sized organizations is preferred
Experience in healthcare is preferred
Certification: HR certification [PHR, SHRM-CP, CEBS, CCP, etc.] is preferred
ATS is preferred
