Private Equity Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

Serve as a systems liaison between Finance, Operations and the Investment Team, working across platforms including Indus Valley Partners, Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics, and DealCloud
Support in managing the external third-party administrators for all accounting and fund management functions, including monthly and quarterly NAVs, capital calls and distributions, management fee and waterfall calculations, LP capital allocations and financial statements
Assist with regulatory reporting initiatives for SBIC Funds (Form 468, Form 1031, and Capital Certificate)
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to track KPIs against internal goals, including but not limited to: concentration metrics, investment risk ratings by fund, cash vs PIK income by fund, and sector exposures by fund
Manage overall fund liquidity including daily cash management, liquidity projections, available capital, and credit facilities with banks
Support analysis and compliance of fund back leverage, covenants and borrowing base mechanics
Ongoing support for investor inquiries and marketing materials for our upcoming fund launches
Partner with investment, finance, and risk teams to ensure metrics are accurate, well-defined, and decision-useful
Assist with ad hoc analyses related to portfolio composition, fund performance, and operational efficiency
Prepare investment valuations, including loans, warrants and equity
Coordinate with external auditors on our year-end financial statement audits and SBA examinations
Assist with onboarding of new investments into portfolio management system
Optimize, document and formalize operational workflows
Participate in middle and back-office technology implementations such as order management system, security master, and data warehouse
Reconcile data attributes with our administrator to ensure we have proper data integrity within our credit platform
