Busch Vacuum Solutions is a leading manufacturer of vacuum pumps, compressors, and blowers for various industries. They are seeking a Service Technician Level 2 responsible for disassembling industrial equipment in the vacuum pump remanufacturing process and ensuring efficient operation within the service center.

Responsibilities

Remove pumps from the frame and disassemble pump components minimizing any damage to components during disassembly per the prescribed timeframe

Clean industrial pumps using cold dip parts, cleaner, hot dip parts cleaner, high-pressure parts washer, bead blaster, and sandblaster

Perform preventive maintenance on shop equipment as part of the Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) program

Safely and productively operate material handling equipment, forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes

Work independently or as a team, as necessary, to fulfill department and Busch goals and objectives

Cross-train to support other functions in the service center, as needed

Assist with implementing and maintaining 5S and Lean activities to improve flow and reduce waste as directed by Management

Maintain measurable and productive output as defined by production goals

Follow the provided training and procedures outlined in the written operating procedures of our internal proprietary system

Must comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures while reporting all unsafe activities and concerns to the supervisor, safety officer, or human resources

Required

1+ year of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment

Education: High School graduate or General Education Degree

Computer skills: Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office software

Ability and willingness to pass a 9-panel drug screen, 7-year criminal history check

Must pass respirator fit test (annual retesting required)

Must be willing to maintain facial hair to a minimum for respirator fitment

Must be willing and able to utilize all required PPE

Must be eligible to work in the US without company sponsorship

Constant reaching outward, lifting/carrying/pushing pulling up to 10lbs

Frequent standing, walking, sitting, lifting/carrying/pushing pulling up to 50lbs

Occasional climbing, squatting, kneeling, reaching above the shoulder, and lifting/carrying/pushing pulling up to 100lbs
