Senior Test Engineer

Responsibilities

Analyze embedded military systems to define and implement effective test methods
Design and develop test environments, fixtures, and equipment
Author and maintain detailed test procedures, reports, and documentation
Plan, oversee, and execute qualification and production testing
Provide Design for Testability input and support design reviews
Collaborate with Manufacturing Test and provide necessary training
Manage schedules, budgets, and status reporting for assigned tasks
Specify and evaluate supplier components and test-related services
Demonstrate strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Work independently and collaboratively to meet technical, cost, and schedule goals

Required

7+ years of Electrical/Test Engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
Diligent, quick learner with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) and familiar with agile tools (e.g., Jira)
Experienced in collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and purchasing teams
Skilled in developing automated test systems using NI LabVIEW and TestStand
Familiar with modeling tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, and Cameo
Ability to multitask and manage multiple technical issues in parallel
Knowledge of actuator and control systems
U.S. Citizenship required
This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment

Preferred

Experience with product qualification (EMI, shock, vibration, etc.)
Background in nuclear power systems and related standards (IEEE 323, 344, MIL-STD-461)
