Innovate undergraduate and graduate level teaching in biomedical engineering
Propose to develop novel initiatives and expand or assemble/relocate high impact research groups
Engage in externally funded research and demonstrate teaching excellence
Qualification
Required
An earned Ph.D. from a biomedical engineering, or related engineering or quantitative science discipline(s)
Evidence of potential (Asst) or established (Assoc, Full) national prominence through superior scholarship, active externally funded research, and teaching excellence
Preferred
Emerging or established leader in one of the research emphasis areas (preferred: Biomedical Imaging/ Bioelectronics; Cell/ Tissue Engineering; Neuro/ Rehabilitation Engineering; Molecular Medicine/ Drug Delivery; Biomechanics)
Commitment to teaching and mentoring students from all backgrounds
Optional 1-page expected contributions to broadening participation in engineering (BPE) or diversity statement
