Conducting research on relevant topics and strategies used by other states or agencies on comparable projects
Defining content strategies for presenting complex information clearly and usably for the relevant audience
Writing, editing, and fact-checking content prior to publication
Collaborating with cross-divisional and cross-agency teams to align content with stakeholder needs
Utilizing agency standards to maintain consistent branding and tone across all touchpoints
Editing content for clarity, grammar, and tone
Reviewing and enhancing the website for performance, design, SEO, and user experience, providing ongoing updates and recommendations, including dynamic project updates
Managing project timelines and meeting deadlines successfully
Qualification
Required
8 Years Experience in web content writing or digital marketing
8 Years Working knowledge of SEO, content strategy, website editing, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
5 Years Experience content planning and performance tracking
5 Years Demonstrated strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
4 Years Documented experience in copywriting and proofreading
2 Years Basic graphic editing skills with Photoshop and/or Illustrator
1 Year Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
1 Year Strong portfolio showcasing content for a range of different audiences
Preferred
2 Years Documented work experience relating to early childhood care and education
2 Years Documented strong collaboration skills to work with customers across multiple agencies/organizations
