Responsibilities
Design standard products and develop custom solutions
Increase manufacturing capabilities
Multitask across different projects
Work on partially completed designs and complete them
Procure and test first piece samples
Support the product as it moves to production phase
Create design and component specifications
Develop part number schemes and provide specification information for product documentation
Engage with customers for custom modifications of standard designs
Support manufacturing operations by creating assembly procedures and procuring tools and machines
Design associated production floor area
Qualification
Required
Mechanical college degree or certification required
Significant 3D CAD software experience required
Preferred
Electrical knowledge preferred
Strong communication and project management skills are preferred
