Responsibilities

Taking mission-aligned opportunities for Capital One and making them a reality through execution

Working with early-life cycle opportunities, adding definition to their scope and objectives to turn them into tangible and purposeful delivery opportunities

Managing large and small scale projects that have been prioritized by the organization from start to end

Establishing well managed governance and operational efficiencies for projects, including facilitating their progress, maintaining the motivation of the project teams and keeping stakeholders aligned toward project scope to accomplish work

Serving as a project management subject matter expert in GEA to ensure strategic initiatives are well-managed and enable project teams to collaborate and deliver intended outcomes

Identifying ways to plan, design, manage and improve project plans and processes while integrating various project components into project management processes that enable clarity, identification of roadblocks and risk mitigation

Influencing and motivating a broad array of internal partners to collaborate with GEA in growing and demonstrating Capital One’s corporate identity and mission orientation to external communities

Serving as a strategic advisor supporting the day-to-day and longer-term objectives of the GEA organization, as well as building and maintaining buy-in for change throughout the company
