Responsibilities
Own customer support communication (primarily email; Slack may be added later)
Help offices with ordering questions and product selection
Find comparable alternatives or substitutions when items aren’t available
Answer 'How do I...?' questions inside procurement tools and guide customers to clear next steps
Communicate in a way that makes customers feel cared for—especially when they’re busy, stressed, or frustrated
Treat customers like people, not ticket numbers—listen, clarify, and respond with warmth
Take ownership of closing the loop: confirm next steps, follow up when needed, and make sure the customer knows what’s happening
Represent SourceClub professionally on camera for customer calls when needed
Notice patterns and friction points (where offices get confused, where requests repeat, where we can simplify)
Contribute ideas to improve support workflows, templates, and knowledge resources
Partner with leadership to implement improvements (you recommend, leadership approves—growing autonomy over time)
Qualification
Required
2+ years as a dental assistant (or equivalent experience in dentistry)
Strong dental product knowledge (you understand what teams actually order and why)
Strong written communication (warm, clear, professional)
Comfortable on camera (Google Meet) for customer calls when needed
Proficient to Advanced in Excel and Google Workspace
Preferred
Treatment coordinator experience, inventory/ordering ownership, front office leadership, or dental office management exposure
Experience communicating with multiple dental locations or a high-volume inbox
Familiarity with a CRM or support/ticketing system (not required—we'll train)
